The applicant should fulfil all the required criteria, the student should be either an undergraduate or a postgraduate student, under the age of 35 years and possessing a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Submissions following the expiration of the deadline would not be considered and the participant would be disregarded for the award.
Each applicant has the ability to submit only one application. Multiple entries or duplicate entries would be disqualified.
Griness shares no responsibility for any entries which are either lost, late, misdirected, incomplete or unintelligible.
Griness would have the sole publication rights and to the application as well as the written response to the submission. Hence, the participant grants, transfers, sells, assigns and conveys to Griness, its successors and assigns, all present and future right, title and interest of every kind and nature whatsoever, which is inclusive of but not restricted to, all copyrights, and all rights incidental, subsidiary, ancillary or allied thereto (including, without limitation, all derivative rights) in and to the application and the written response submission(s) for exploitation throughout the universe, in perpetuity, by means of any and all media and devices whether now known or hereafter devised (the “Rights”).
Any article which is being submitted would become property of Griness and would not be handed back. Griness retains the rights, in its own discretion, to edit, scan, alter, duplicate the application and the submitted articles for any purpose which is deemed necessary by the company. The applicant waives off any moral-rights he or she possesses over the written submissions. Each participant acknowledges that he or she has no rights with regards to the application and the article submitted to the company.
Each participant states and warrants to Griness that the application as well the article submitted is the own work of the applicant and has not been published before; the article is not involved in or has the potential to be associated with litigation and claim; is not in violation of the intellectual property rights or the rights of any other person on entity; is not in violation of the applicable laws.
Every participant extends his or her agreement to indemnify and hold Griness not responsible for and against any third-party claims, proceedings or any action, all forms of damages, costs, liabilities, expenses associated to or occurring as a result of any breach or suspected breech of the warranties, representations or agreements of the participant.
Participation of the participant in the scholarship program implies agreement to that Griness and its associated organizations, affiliates and each of such company’s respective employees, officers, directors, and agents shall bear no responsibility for any costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any form occurring in relation to: (I) incomplete, lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries or for failure to receive applications because of any cause, including without limitation human, transmission, or technical problems, failures, or malfunctions of any kind, whether originating with sender, or otherwise, that may limit an applicant’s ability to participate in the scholarship program; or (ii) any injury or damage resulting, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from participation in the scholarship program and/or the use of any prize, including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, or any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages related to or based on the applicant’s rights of publicity or privacy, or the applicant’s claim that he or she has somehow been defamed or portrayed in a false light. Griness shares no responsibility for the damages done to the computer system of an applicant as a result of accessing the Website or being a participant of the scholarship program, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature, or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information.
The scholarship program is governed by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Singapore, the republic reserves the right of exclusive jurisdiction or any issues which arise as a result of the participation in the scholarship program. The program would be void if prohibited.
In any situation where the Republic of Singapore prohibits the continuation of the program owing to any reason which is beyond control, we reserve the right to either alter, stop or discontinue the scholarship program.
Griness maintain the complete right to disqualify any participant who is identified to be altering the application process or the scholarship program operations or the website, violation of the official rules and regulation, submission of inaccurate or dishonest information, behaving in a disruptive manner. In the scenario where there is ambiguity of the participant’s identify, the authorized user of the email address which was used t submit the document would be considered to be the participant. The “legitimate account holder” is the person to which the email account is assigned by the internet service provider which is responsible for the allocation of such.
If an application is found to be deleted, lost or destroyed in an erroneous fashion by Griness, the only course of remedy for the participant is to resubmit under the condition that time permits. Failure to apply the official regulations will not be considered as a waiver of any sorts.
Present employees, officers, directors, and agents of Invensis Learning and its associated companies and immediate family members (in the form of spouses, parents, siblings, and children) and any person residing in the very same address will not be allowed to participate. Void where prohibited. Purchase of any nature is not required.
The possible winner would be informed either via email or phone, when they would be required to sign several other documentation. Griness share no liability for any possible winner notifications which are missed, intercepted or not received to the person in due time owing to any reason. If the potential wining candidate fails to contact us within 7 days of notification, the participant would be disqualified and a replacement winner would be chosen. Griness would be making the final decision. We are not obligated to inform you via voice mail, answering machine or any other messaging service. We hold no responsibility for any misleading or fraudulent calls or emails sent to the participants.
Winner would not be permitted to renter the following iterations of the program organized by the Griness for a period of one year after being chosen as a winner.
The price shall not be assigned, transferred, or changed, except unless at the discretion of Griness. The prize would be awarded only in full compliance with the official rules and regulations. Applicants share their consent to adhere to the official rules and agree that if the winning recipient is incapable of offering proof of identity, does not to provide necessary affidavit, disregards the request to provide a digital photograph of self to be displayed on our website and marketing materials, refuses to complete and provide any requested tax forms, is found to be in violation of the official rules and regulations or otherwise not in adherence to the eligibility criteria, the scholarship prize will be cancelled. Applicants are fully aware that Griness is shares no responsibility for injuries, losses or damages of any nature occurring as a result of the participation in this scholarship program and acceptance, possession and use of scholarship prize. Griness is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the scholarship program, administration of the scholarship program or in the announcement of the scholarship prize. Taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of scholarship prize recipient.
Submission of an application is an agreement that Griness would be calling or getting in touch via email which you have provided with regards to the application.
In any case where prohibited, acceptance of the prize money, the recipient offers Griness the right without any limitation or further compensation or notice to take use of the participants name, photo, voice and/or likeness in any and all forms of media al across the world, for the use of advertising and promotion of the website, , the scholarship program, or any other promotion, contest or sweepstakes sponsored by us.
Except in conditions where restricted, the participation of the scholarship program, the applicant shares agreement to: (a) to all forms of disputes, claims, and causes of action occurring out of or associated with this scholarship program, or receiving the prize money, shall be personally resolved, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this scholarship program but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any participant be permitted to obtain awards for and hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.
Except in conditions where restricted, possible recipient of the scholarship prize money (their parents or legal guardians if under the age of 18 during the time of application) woud be required to compile and send an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release within a period of ten days following official notification or the applicant will be eliminated and another winner would be chosen.
Verification of the eligibility, age, claims and proof of enrolment in a degree seeking program at an accredited college or university would be done. If in any scenario the notification sent to a winning recipient is returned back to the organization as undeliverable, the winner would be disqualified, and another winner would be chosen.
